Does PotatOS take a cut of my sales?
No. Card payments go to your own Stripe, PayPal or SSLCommerz account, and cash or wallet payments are between you and your buyer. PotatOS charges only the monthly plan.
Do I need a website or a domain?
No. Your store lives at potatos.app/store/your-name and works on every phone. You can connect your own domain too.
Who owns my customers' data?
You do. You can download it at any time, and delete a customer's data when they ask. We never sell it or contact your customers for ourselves.
What happens when the beta ends?
Before it ends we'll announce what each plan includes. Your store, products and orders stay as they are; nothing is deleted.
Which countries and languages does it support?
Each store sets its own currency, time zone and country, so prices, dates and phone numbers are right for your buyers. The site and dashboard help are in English and Bangla.
